Paul F. Laughlin

As an active trial attorney, Paul has tried in excess of 130 cases to a jury verdict, representing parties in countless professional liability matters including medical and legal malpractice cases as well as general and commercial liability matters.

Paul trained as a mediator at Pepperdine University’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution and is certified to serve as a mediator in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Drawing on his background and extensive experience as a trial attorney, Paul places a priority on facilitating communication and promoting a positive negotiation process for all involved. Known for both empathy and integrity, Paul believes that an effective mediator not only develops a knowledge of the unique facts and legal issues of each case, but takes time to get to know the parties involved in each negotiation to determine their needs and overcome obstacles to resolution.

Certificate from Pepperdine University awarded to Paul Laughlin for completing 42 hours of training in Mediation of the Litigated Case at Straus Institute, dated February 9-11 and 23-25, 2017, signed by Peter Robinson, with a Pepperdine University seal.
